WiCCD Winter Membership DRIVE to 1000!

Hard as it is to believe, Women in Canadian Criminal Defence (WiCCD) is turning 5 in the New Year!

Our wonderful organization was formally founded on Jan 4 2022.

We have just about three months to reach our new goal of 1000 members!

We know that new members are most often recruited by existing members who care deeply about WiCCD and the community we have built here.

As a result, we will be acknowledging the sponsors and referrers with a special draw prize for those who refer the next milestone members.

As we hover around the 875 member mark now, the 900th member, 950th member and finally the 1000th member as well as their sponsors will receive draw prizes.

If you find WiCCD helpful to your practice, tell your friends and colleagues and make sure they specifically provide your name and email address on the application form as their sponsor / referrer.

Women and gender diverse criminal defence lawyers, law students with a strong interest in the criminal law, and similarly situated licensed paralegals and paralegal students are eligible for membership across Canada.

Here is the application form, which you can also find embedded in our bios for most social media and our YouTube Channel.

Let’s make sure all eligible women legal professionals in criminal defence in Canada get to experience the WiCCD wonders we offer here.
