Game 6 was a real heart-breaker but we had so much FUN anyway – and we get a Game 7 at HOME!!

It was Halloween, Friday the 31st of OCTOBER 2025 – the whole City was spooky, windy, silly and dressed up as either Blue Jays or some scary villain or both – the energy on the streets was really chaotic and, well, electric.

The game was a grind with their best pitcher on the mound who gave us a run for our money, but we did get to him a bit – that said, we thought we had tied it there for a sec and we were jubilant!! What a moment – unfortunately a lodged ball took the winds out of our sails. But we played well. We lost due to a never before event in our ballpark that is an utter fluke. I was not even a little bit upset. I fully expected to lose this Game and win it in 7, which is what the City needs, deserves and if there is any justice in the world, will get!

We had a wonderful time, truth be told – from the moment we got to the ballpark and were greeted with free Mary Brown’s chicken sandwiches, to the costumes on all the kids – and adults – to the energy in the park – it was all memorable and memories being made is all that we can hope for out of life. Blessed.

We signed the Jays’ Good Luck Card – that says GO JAYS – heart – Spaghetti LaPortes
