Licensed Ontario Lawyers and Paralegals Must Register to attend and vote at the LSO AGM on Sept 18 2025

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED MY MOTION FOR A GLOBAL ACCOUNTING OF THE CEOSS (pronounced “chaos”) situation at LSO- it is filed, as far as I can tell.

The motion is now published on the Law Society’s Annual General Meeting Page on its website here

Law Society Virtual Annual General Meeting

Sept. 18, 2025

I’m not 100% clear how this goes but according to this article in the Law Times, licensees present at the AGM can vote on motions like mine.

If that’s indeed the case I would really appreciate your presence and vote at the AGM when I introduce the motion – for one thing it will need a seconder I guess.

But since I know that most lawyers and paralegals support the direction I’m taking, showing that support would be helpful – so if you’re able to attend, please diarize this date and time –

THURSDAY SEPT 18 AT 5:15 PM – the AGM will be held virtually so we just all Zoom in.

You have to pre-register to be able to attend.

Here is the Law Society’s webpage with the info

https://lso.ca/news-events/news/latest-news-2025/12

and you register on this page

https://lso.postelwebcast.com/2025/registration.php

PLEASE REGISTER AND JOIN THE AGM and VOTE
