New Content Released on my CV — February 2025 — Program Organizing, Intensive Graduate Level Law Teaching & One REALLY BIG Conference!! Among other things…..

Looking ahead at the next few months, it was time to update the CV from last fall just to document what has been happening and what’s to come.

Anita Szigeti CV – February 2025

WiCCD Celebrated our 3rd Birthday with a wonderful fire-side chat with Justice Jill R. Presser of the Superior Court of Justice (Toronto). A truly memorable event empowering and reinvigorating our members.

Being one of the organizers of the Court of Appeal for Ontario’s Rosenberg Mentorship Moot is a labour-intensive, time-consuming period of actually pure joy. All made for a perfect experience because of the women I get to work with who are just astounding. Nothing but collaboration, mutual admiration, support, empowerment, collegiality and team work leading to a stellar event. That culminated in moot day on Jan 25, 2025 but of course had been in the works since last summer.

Next up at the end of this month in February, Ruby Dhand and I reprise our role as co-Directors of the Mental Health Law intensive elective within the Professional Health Law LLM at Osgoode PD.

And finally, April will end with the FIRST EVER LAMDA / WiCCD Mental Disorder and the Criminal Law Conference co-Chaired by Justice Jill. R. Presser, Dena Bonnet, and me. THAT is going to be something else. Already sold out in person and nearing a sell-out virtual capacity, 700 attendees is not out of the question. Couldn’t be more pleased with how all that is coming along, one step at a time!
