WiCCD’s 2024 Surprise Awards Ceremony Now Live on YouTube – with Justice Brock Jones, Nader Hasan, Genevieve Eliany and Anita Szigeti

You can now watch the 23 minute Surprise Awards Ceremony held at WiCCD’s Bail Conference on Sept 14, 2024, here – for an uplifting moment of tears, smiles and just a whole lot of good feels!

Description:

A surprise presentation of WiCCD’s Annual Awards was the second last “panel” at our Bail Conference on September 14, 2024 held at the TMU. The Awards Ceremony was not listed on the Agenda, in part because some of the Awards were intended to surprise their recipients.

WiCCD’s Treasurer Cassandra DeMelo presented the first Award to WiCCD member Genevieve Eliany who is WiCCD’s Woman of 2024. WiCCD’s Secretary Anita Szigeti presented the WiCCD Ally 2024 Award to Nader Hassan. WiCCD’s Assistant Secretary, Education Director and Bail Conference Co-Chair Maya Shukairy surprised co-Chair Justice Brock Jones with WiCCD’s first ever Administration of Justice Award (2024). Finally, WiCCD’s Founder, Anita Szigeti, was presented with the one and only “WiCCDest” Award by Cassandra DeMelo. This too was a surprise.

The Awards Presentation contains impassioned, moving speeches by all the recipients and presenters. This was an extremely well received segment at the conference. We recommend watching this short video for a truly uplifting experience.
