What a lovely evening this was as we kick off the Rosenberg Mentorship Moot’s Second Edition for 2025. On Thursday, Jan 9, 2025, the program for this year was officially launched at the Court of Appeal.

With all our mentors, mentees and special guests in attendance, Associate Chief Justice the Honourable Michal Fairburn opened the proceedings, followed by an inspiring Keynote address by Justice Coroza in honour of the late Honourable Marc Rosenberg and a spectacular Advocacy Demonstration exercise with Sarah Rankin and Nader Hassan. The three program organizers, Anna Trbovich, Dena Bonnet and I made some practical remarks to help our participants orient to the program. And then we had snacks and mingled! It’s wonderful to put faces to all the names of our mooters this year and we are all very excited about Moot Day, Saturday, Jan 25, 2025!
