Even searching for my full name exactly as it would appear, which minimizes hits, and even without reporting my early dozens of Appeal Book Endorsements that are not included in such searches today I realized CanLII is showing exactly 200 Reported ONCA cases for me over the course of my career.

I am proud of this achievement, despite that most of these cases are restricted to appeals taken from Ontario Review Board matters directly to the Court of Appeal as of right. Not all, however. There are also significant and even seminal civil mental health cases and other areas of human rights and administrative law matters, albeit certainly fewer. There are some interventions, some criminal and constitutional matters. On balance, most were lost. But the commitment and longevity of my career in trying and arguing these appeals deserves a moment’s pause to acknowledge and celebrate.
