WiCCD has three active series of videos at the moment.

1. Our Find Your Niche Series featuring prominent women in criminal defence across Canada and the rising stars of tomorrow. The latest release is a Special Celebration of the series’ founder and WiCCD Wonder Recipient, WiCCD’s Assistant Secretary and Director of Education, Maya Shukairy. This 23rd Episode is also a surprise reunion of the previous 20+ FYN Alumna. Check it out here:

2. Our “Who Cares??” Series. The Premier episode in this series is Maya’s interview of Bencher candidates Neha Chugh and Gerald Chan. The Bencher Election is coming up in a couple of weeks and it is an important one. This is an informative introduction to the issues of importance to our bar. View the episode here:

3. Our pre-recorded CPD Events will be slow-released on YouTube every 2nd Wednesday of each month. There are series on Managing a Criminal Law File, Complex Bails, Appeals, Representing Indigenous clients and more.  The first episode is an Overview of a Criminal law file with Alison Craig.
