LAMDA & CLOC THIRD ONCA BENCH AND BAR ZOOM ADVOCACY CONFERENCE FOR THE CRIMINAL APPELLATE BAR — JAN 26 2023

Once again this year, LAMDA and CLOC were fortunate enough to co-host five Justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Grateful to Justices Thorburn, Sossin, George, Favreau and Copeland for joining us this evening for an intimate and informal fire-side chat about advocacy in criminal appeals. We talked and learned about civility, collegiality, mentorship and more!

This year, along with the criminal appellate bar, we invited mooters and coaches from the inaugural Rosenberg Mentorship Moot to join us in our audience, as a special perk of that new program, which holds its final moot on Saturday, Jan 28.

Looking forward to continuing both traditions over the coming years!

Thanks, as always, to Anna Trbovich of the Court and Dena Bonnet of CLOC for organizing with us.

Here are some mementos of this beautiful and warm evening.

This Program is formally entitled: Third Bench and Bar Zoom Advocacy Conference for the Criminal Appellate Bar. The Service Providers are LAMDA & CLOC. The program received accreditation from the Law Society of Ontario for 2 full hours (and zero minutes) of Professionalism CPD.

Only those who pre-registered for the event and attended can claim the CPD accreditation.
