Law and Mental Health In Canada – Ruby and Me

I want to celebrate especially my co-Editor and co-Author on this latest book, Law and Mental Health in Canada: Cases and Materials.

Ruby and I have been friends for something like 15 years when I first met her and she became the first ever summer intern of Anita Szigeti Advocates or at least of Anita Szigeti! I think I was still a partner in the law firm Hiltz Szigeti then, maybe circa 2008-2009 or so.

Since then we’ve done so much together – written two text books together, litigated cases in the Supreme Court of Canada and we are starting our stint as Program Co-Directors for the Mental Health Law course within the Health Law LLM at Osgoode Professional Development in just a few short weeks.

It’s a wonderful life-long collaboration and treasured friendship I cherish so much.

Here’s to you, Dr. Dhand!!

And while we are here, let us celebrate our number one fan who has done such heavy-lifting in promoting my books over the last few years, including taking one to show-and-tell at JK!
