Anita Szigeti Advocates grows to a 7 person law firm January 2021

2020 is well and good behind us. Thank Goodness for that.

This New Year has already brought a number of sudden developments, including some disappointment.

However, nothing is going to take away our joy at announcing that our little law firm is growing.

We are in the process of hiring a second associate and a second articling student.

With my associate, current articling student and legal assistant, and including now our business manager, we are suddenly going to be a firm of seven!!

Given I started my solo law practice in 1994, literally sitting alone in an office, without admin supports for the first few years, this is a big deal.

I was part of a very successful law partnership with D’Arcy Hiltz (Hiltz Szigeti) for 11 years (2002-2013) but even then we were two lawyers, two assistants at most.

Seven people in my little law firm is a big step forward and a big leap of faith in us.

The worst of COVID is a difficult time to even contemplate economic growth, but for us, for now, the workload demands addressing it in a responsible way.

I couldn’t be more proud of the people I work with or more excited about the future.

Thank you for supporting our little firm over the years and looking forward to 2021!!
