The Prison Depopulation Project of Early COVID 19

Proud to call Boris Bytensky “friend.” His eerily similar to my life / career path may explain a lot. That being said, when my colleagues and I tried to depopulate the psychiatric hospitals, we did not get the co-operation that defence lawyers got on behalf of inmates and prisoners, from any justice system participant. That remains a great shame of this pandemic, in my opinion. I am nonetheless very proud of the work of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association and this man on the depopulation of congregate settings front. We will continue to have to do this again and again until there’s a vaccine.
