Here is a little bit of history on my first attempts at practising law on my own. Circa 1994. Decided to open a sole practice from my tiny rented apartment off Trinity Bellwoods. Advertised in the first edition of the Outrider sold for $1 by people living on the street.
The ad is a little wonky.
I wrote a legal column in this on all imaginable topics for years. We will soon have all those columns scanned in and archive them here. Apparently I had the good sense to retain copyright on these masterpieces.
Amuse yourselves by counting the typos in the teeny tiny ad I placed in this priceless first edition.
And watch for the next installment of all this history. The big move from the apartment to King Street where all the real action began. To this day, I have the same office phone number!!
