My second CLA event in two days – a soft return to the fold I guess.
My son took some spectacular photos of me on my way out the door for this special presentation of the Martin Medal to Justice Bruce Durno.

And when I got there, I was able to spend a few hours with this wonderful best friend.
I had not intended to attend but there was a ticket up for grabs – by some minor miracle – the day before and on a whim decided to join my friend. In the end, I was very glad I went and had a lovely time seeing old friends and also by some minor miracle, running into absolutely nobody I never want to see again.
It was absolutely hilarious to hear “That’s the girl who was denied bread” as I walked past one table of conference attendees. Turns out I have a brand new claim to fame arising from another extremely funny earlier incident two nights before. If you meet me in person one day, ask me about this one!
