One of my favourite things that I do in my law practice is represent #Inuit accused persons who are NCR but detained in the South. Honoured to be a member of the Nunavut bar. A small but intense and supportive group of counsel. Nobody needs us more. Clients are so vulnerable.
I will never forget being called by the Chief Justice of Nunavut on March 14 2014.
Getting Called to the Nunavut Bar – by then Chief Justice Kilpatrick March 14 2014, Iqaluit, NU
